I grew up in Franklin, Tennessee, though my roots run deep in Shelbyville. My family is from Shelbyville, and my father, Jody Lambert, has practiced law here for decades—even after we moved to Franklin. He remains deeply involved in the Shelbyville community to this day, which instilled in me a strong appreciation for local ties and the importance of serving the people and places that shape us.

I attended Middle Tennessee State University, graduating in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Concrete Industry Management and a minor in Business. After college, I went to work for Cooper Steel, a company local to Shelbyville. Over the course of nearly four years, I worked in the field across the country on commercial projects, serving as an onsite project manager overseeing steel erection. It was demanding, hands-on work that gave me invaluable experience managing complex construction operations from the ground up. I later transitioned to an office-based project management role before feeling the pull to build something of my own.

That’s when I founded Halcyon Construction, a residential and small commercial contracting company. We specialize in new home construction, home renovations, repairs and maintenance, home additions, outdoor living spaces, and small commercial build-outs—helping our clients create spaces designed for comfort, function, and lasting quality.

Outside of work, my faith in Jesus is the foundation of everything I do. I love spending time with family, and when I get the chance, you’ll find me hunting, fishing, or out on the golf course.
